Although this is Texas, and warm on most days, it’s starting to feel like Christmas. We are two weeks away and finally got our family picture taken this weekend. I will post it after I get the cards in the mail…. I don’t want to spoil the surprise. =0) The house is decorated, the nutcrackers are set up, and the outside of the house is all lit up and ready for Santa. The advent calendars are popping open everyday and the church is decorated in Purple. The final Christmas season “to do” is baking. I can’t wait to make our Christmas cookies, snowballs and fudge.
We have gone to two holiday parties and the cookie exchange is this week! One of the parties was the Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) party. There were SO many kids there. We were blessed to be in a room with so many special needs kids! Ours kids had a great time. They made crafts, ate pizza and cookies, and sat on Santa’s lap.
We are looking forward to Sydney’s first Christmas!

This post is being added a little late. Things have been crazy-busy around here lately. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year. We spent it at our friends the Callaways. We were with several other families and felt like part of the big family. It is so wonderful to have this extended “family” around us. The kids all had a BLAST! Between the group of kids and the Wii, they might as well have been at Disneyland.
