How Faith is helping us grow with Downs

My dear friend Fran gave me an award last month and I honestly keep “meaning to” go pick it up and forward it on.  My excuse has been that I need my techie hubby to post the logo on the right rail of my blog, but that really is not an excuse not to acknowledge Fran’s sweetness.  Luckily Fran is a dear friend and we meet each week to do a bible study together, and she KNOWS that I love her to pieces!  (At least I hope she does).  I love you Fran!  The award is the Baddest Mommy Blogger.  And lucky for me, that is Bad meaning Good (whew!).  So apparently I have her fooled “MOO-HA-HA”  (that was my evil laugh)

This award is RULES FOR THIS AWARD:
1. Pass it on to 5 other bad mommy bloggers. Bad is the new good, didn’t you know?
2. Link back to the award creator. (Click on the award and you’ll get to ExMi’s site)
3. Tell the recipients of your award just why you’re rewarding their badness!

For the record, I hate to pick just 5.  There are so many wonderful mothers that I have met in cyberspace.  Fran even chose one of my favorites.  So, here goes…

1. Nicole at All4MyGals.  She is a Faithful mother of 4 beautiful girls.  Having 4 girls would scare me, but she handles motherhood with such grace.

2. Michelle at Big Blueberry Eyes.  She is a military wife preparing for her husband to be deployed for a year and is moving during the holidays.  She is amazing and an inspiration to MANY bloggers.

3. Kele at Giles Family of 5.  She has three gorgeous kids an her youngest, princess Presley has been through so much in her short life and Kele has truly showed her faith through it all.

4. Heather at Little Wonders.  Her sweet angel, Zoey is going through chemo for Leukemia.  I cannot imagine the distress for Heather as a mother, but I am in full admiration for her grace and honesty.  Please pray for little Zoey, she needs as many prayer warriors as possible.  Pray for Heather as well, she needs strength and support.

5. My mother.  Although she does not blog, she is truly my favorite mom of all.  I would not be who I am without her.  She was a wonderful role model.  She was a military wife and the mother of three kids.  She showed me strength, creativity, compassion, love and strength.  Thanks mom!

You are so sweet! I’m going to go surf your nominees, but I’m sure they’re all deserving. I know your Mom is, even without a blog for me to surf.
